On June 13th, a symposium for enterprises in the fluorine chemical refrigerant industry chain was successfully held in Quzhou.
This symposium focuses on the current development status of the refrigerant industry, the challenges faced by technological applications, as well as the current market development difficulties and trends. More than 40 companies and nearly 50 participants, including representatives of upstream and downstream enterprises, experts and scholars in the industry, attended the meeting.
At the symposium, Lei Jun, Chairman of the Zhejiang Fluorochemical Industry Association, stated that this symposium coincides with a critical window period of deep transformation in the global fluorine chemical industry, which is a rare opportunity for upstream and downstream exchanges and mutual learning in the industry chain. 2025 is the year when the 14th Five Year Plan comes to an end and the 15th Five Year Plan is planned. This symposium will inject new momentum into the high-quality development of the fluorine chemical industry by analyzing the new situations, problems, and patterns it is currently facing.
Hu Qunyi, Secretary General of Zhejiang Fluorine Chemical Industry Association, focused on the development ideas of fluorine chemical industry during the 15th Five Year Plan period and analyzed the current development status of the refrigerant industry. The guests conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on the core trends of the current refrigerant industry iteration acceleration and the severe challenges brought by the quota system. In response to the prominent problems of counterfeit and shoddy products flooding the market in some provinces and the difficulty in breaking through foreign patent barriers, which seriously interfere with the healthy development of the industry, the attending guests combined specific practical cases of leading enterprises in the industry, and focused on exploring how enterprises can achieve a balance between maximizing operational efficiency and sustainable development under limited quota constraints from multiple dimensions such as technological evolution paths, market demand changes, and industrial chain trade associations.
At the same time, in order to help enterprises better cope with the complex international economic and trade environment, Zhang Ying, Deputy Secretary General of Quzhou International Chamber of Commerce, deeply analyzed domestic and foreign support policies and combined international patent practice experience to further share the future development direction and response strategies of refrigerant industry enterprises in exploring international markets. During the event, the attending guests also actively shared innovative ideas and feasible solutions from various enterprises to explore international markets and accelerate the "going global" of refrigerant products, aiming to provide new perspectives and practical references for the industry to break through development bottlenecks and seize global opportunities.
Lv Mingle, General Manager of Hangzhou Feima Exhibition Co., Ltd
At the symposium, Lv Mingle, General Manager of Hangzhou Feima Exhibition Co., Ltd., gave a detailed introduction to the achievements of the previous exhibition and the progress of preparations for the current China International Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Refrigeration, and Cold Chain Industry Exhibition (RACC). He particularly pointed out that the Fourth China International Refrigerant Summit Forum, held at the same time as the previous exhibition, focused on various sub sectors of the industry and attracted nearly 100 professional practitioners from overseas to participate widely, becoming one of the most concerned international forums in the industry.
Mr. Lv stated that based on the advantages of the Yangtze River Delta refrigeration industry base, the RACC exhibition has reached a new high in the number of visitors, from around 200 in the first edition to 642 exhibitors in the fourth edition last year. Among them, the number of overseas visitors has exceeded 2000, a year-on-year increase of more than double. Currently, it has become the fastest growing international HVAC exhibition, winning wide recognition from domestic and foreign markets and continuously expanding its influence.
In 2025, the RACC exhibition will welcome its fifth edition and hold a grand celebration. Not only do we need to increase the number of exhibitors and exhibition area, but we also need to comprehensively upgrade, improve the level of exhibition and service, and create a more open and harmonious international exchange platform for HVAC and refrigeration. It is expected that the exhibition area will exceed 70000 square meters, with over 900 global exhibitors and more than 150 international high-end professional forums and summits, attracting more than 40000 domestic professional buyers. As one of the highlights of this exhibition, the preparation for the 5th China International Refrigerant Summit Forum has been smooth. Currently, many overseas visitors have registered to participate in this forum, and the international influence of RACC exhibition will be further expanded.
