
On December 1, according to a decree signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin on the same day, Chinese citizens are permitted to travel to Russia for tourism and business purposes without a visa from now until September 14, 2026 (including September 14), with a visa-free stay of up to 30 days. It is reported that within half an hour after the announcement of the visa-free news, searches related to Russia saw an increase of over two-fold. Subsequently, Siberia Airlines stated that the airline will increase flights to and from China starting this month.

Through multi-faceted efforts including leadership of heads of state, party-to-party exchanges, and economic and trade cooperation, the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination has continued to deepen. Amid the current complex and ever-changing international landscape, China and Russia, as important neighbors and comprehensive strategic partners of coordination, have seen their relationship grow stronger. In May this year, during a visit, the two sides signed over 20 cooperation documents, injecting new and robust momentum into the development of China-Russia relations.
Over the past fifteen years, China has consistently remained Russia's largest trading partner, while Russia ranks as China's fifth-largest trading partner. Moreover, bilateral trade between China and Russia has set new records year after year. According to statistics, from 2014 to 2024, the scale of China-Russia bilateral trade increased by 3.0 times, with China's exports to Russia growing by 2.5 times and imports from Russia expanding by 3.6 times. Looking at the trade volume over the past three years, China-Russia bilateral trade has achieved leapfrog growth, increasing by 2.3 times during this period: in 2022, China-Russia trade amounted to $190.2 billion; in 2023, it rose to $240.1 billion; and in 2024, it reached a new high of $244.8 billion despite headwinds, marking a 2.3-fold increase compared to 2022.

Additionally, according to a report by TASS on November 4, 99.1% of settlements in current Russia-China bilateral trade are now conducted in the two countries' national currencies. This figure represents a further increase from the "90% to 95%" range previously announced by the Russian government.

Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov stated during the 11th China-Russia Finance Ministers' Dialogue held in Beijing on Tuesday that Russia and China have largely moved away from Western currencies for trade settlements, with nearly all payments now conducted in rubles and yuan. He noted that these figures "speak for themselves." Meanwhile, the record-high bilateral trade between the two countries has also created unprecedented market space and development opportunities for businesses in both nations.

February 16–19, 2026, the 2026 Russia CLIMATE WORLD will be held with great scale at the TIMIRYAZEV CENTER in Moscow. Organized jointly by the APIC, the RSHP, and the renowned European exhibition company Euroexpo, this annual event stands as the most significant and highly anticipated exhibition in Russia's HVACR sector dedicated to air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. It is also the longest-running, largest, and most influential exhibition in the Russian HVACR industry. The exhibition brings together manufacturers and suppliers from across the entire air conditioning, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment industry.
Furthermore, the exhibition has received support from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, as well as strong backing from numerous industry associations, including the APIK, the RSHP, AVOK NP, the Turkish HVAC/R Exporters Association – SKD, and the Union of Procurement Centers of Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan.

In February 2025, the 20th Russia International HVAC & Refrigeration Exhibition (CLIMATE WORLD 2025) was successfully held at the Moscow Rubin Expo Center. The event brought together over 270 branded exhibitors from multiple countries and regions, including China, Turkey, Uzbekistan, France, Slovenia, Italy, India, and Belarus. Among the participating companies were international brands such as BREEZ, ICG, Elitech, KTC, Breezart, TURKOV, ZIP, SARBUZ, REFKAR, APP, BN:LL, METEOCKOH, PECTOP AHTION, POBeh, PYCCKNE, PИAAH, and systeme electric, as well as nearly a hundred Chinese enterprises, including Bobo, Huaguang, Kanglun, Wanzhao, Bingfeng, Dongfun, and Feiyuan.
Many companies achieved satisfactory results, securing numerous international orders and potential cooperative clients. According to the official CLIMATE WORLD website, the exhibition area in 2025 reached 15,700 square meters, with the number of Russian domestic enterprises increasing by over 30, representing a growth of 10%. This makes it the HVACR exhibition with the highest participation of domestic Russian exhibitors.

During CLIMATE WORLD 2025, the Chinese companies that joined the delegation organized by the China Refrigeration and Cold Chain Exhibition (RACC) committee to participate in the exhibition in Russia included: Skoran, Sanhe, Feiying, Boer, Jintian, Feiyuan, Aupu, Shiyiluo, Bolaite, Jinyuan, Woke, Xingketai, Mike, Xinlei, Yongfeng, Shenshi, Laiding, Shenzhou, Jinxue, Zanussi, Wico, Zhexue, and over 70 others.
