On the afternoon of December 22, the LG-MEKER Global Light Commercial Central Air Conditioning Strategic Cooperation Ceremony and the launch event of the "LM3100" plan were held in Beijiao, Shunde. Guangdong Meike Intelligent Environmental Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Meike Sunshine") formally secured a strategic cooperation order with South Korea's LG Group. Over the next three years, the collaboration will focus on light commercial central air conditioning products, aiming to achieve a global sales target of 1 million units, involving an amount of 2 billion RMB. Meike Sunshine has also become LG's sole designated JDM (Joint Design and Manufacturing) partner in China for this sector.

According to reports, to ensure the smooth progress of the cooperation, Meike Sunshine also plans to invest an additional 50 million RMB in 2026. The funds will be allocated to several key areas, including intelligent production line upgrades and the construction of new laboratories.
Liu Yihui, Chairman of Meike HVAC Industry Group, stated that under the "LM3100" plan, LG and Meike Sunshine will establish a joint technical team of nearly 100 personnel. Leveraging LG's global technology platform and quality control standards, and integrating Meike Sunshine's capabilities for rapid customization and supply chain cost advantages, the collaboration aims to develop more competitive product series. Furthermore, the partnership will fully align with and deeply integrate into LG's global quality and supply chain management systems.
In addition, Zheng Liyu, Director of the Research Institute at Midea Industrial Technology Business Division, said, "To ensure the smooth advancement of this project, we will open our exclusive technology portfolio and provide green channel access. We will prioritize offering our latest compressor platform technologies and provide in-depth application matching and performance optimization services. With strategic-level resource commitment, end-to-end quality control, and full lifecycle services, we will fully support the strategic cooperation between LG and Meike."

It is understood that in its third year since establishment, Meike Sunshine has grown into an HVAC manufacturing service enterprise with annual sales of nearly 600 million RMB. The company has established ODM partnerships with over 20 Fortune Global 500 or listed companies and has pioneered its unique "Two Lows and Two Highs" business model, developing over 300 products cumulatively. Previously, its 50,000-square-meter intelligent production base has officially commenced operations, with an annual production capacity of 1 million units and equipped with eight professional laboratories.
This cooperation stems from the complementary strengths and strategic alignment between the two parties. LG values Meike Sunshine's solid industry experience, its end-to-end capability for rapid response, advantages in cost control, and the well-developed industrial chain support in Shunde. Facing common challenges for small and medium-sized enterprises going global, such as insufficient brand influence and lack of international channels, Meike Sunshine has not blindly followed the trend of "brand globalization." Instead, it has chosen "product globalization" as its core approach. By leveraging robust product quality and cost competitiveness, and utilizing the channel advantages of the internationally top-tier brand LG, it aims to achieve rapid global market deployment. This "borrowing a vessel to navigate the seas" model not only avoids the high costs associated with brand promotion for SMEs but also enables quick entry into mainstream global markets, achieving twice the result with half the effort.
Moving forward, both parties will focus on central air conditioning and high-potential niche sectors. Through resource integration and innovative collaboration, they aim to build a more competitive HVAC industry ecosystem.
