series air-handling unit. Inherited from the advantage of the earlier product experiences and introduced the
most up to date technology, the new McQuay air handling units is designed to meet the highest industry
standards. The new series AHU adopt modulus design and have more reasonable structure and more flexible
combination functional modules. It can widely apply to various situation where central air handling is required
such as emporium, hotel, commercial building and other stringent applications where clean and conditioned air
is essential such as surgical operating theatres and semi-conductors fabricating facilities, etc.
Excellent Hermetization Heat Insulation Property
The box and the panel are connected using embedded spring clamp, thus facilitating maintenance and ensuring
low air leak rate. When the internal negative pressure is 1000Pa, the air leak rate can be as low as 1% (level
B air leak rate of EN1886).
For the units the panel thickness of which is 25mm and 30mm, the unit panels are packed up in strong and
heat-insulating UPVC plastics, thus avoiding direct contact between heat-conductive parts. Therefore, cold
bridge and refrigeration capacity loss are completely eliminated.

The resistance of the filter is somewhere between the initial resistance and the final resistance. Initial
resistance refers to the resistance of a non-contaminated filter.Final resistance refers to the air resistance of
a filter which is contaminated and needs to be cleaned or discarded. The value of final resistance depends
on the cleanness the environment and air in which the air conditioner operates.
Besides standard configuration, McQuay also provides differential pressure gauges and switches for filters.
The differential pressu re switch can be used to control the differential pressure alarm of the filter.
Panel-type filters and bag-type filters have the same cross-sectional area, but not the same thickness.
Panel-type filters are 2 inches thick. The framework of bag-type filters is 1 inch. The length of the bag is 15
inches.
Cooling and Heating Coil

Fan- Modular Double Skin Air Handling Unit
According to the air flow and static pressure requirement of the unit, the fan section may consist of one or
two centrifugal fans. The centrifugal fans can be categorized into forward curve and backward curve type.
All scrolling cases and reinforcing elements are made of zinc-plated steel plates. The impellers are strictly
balance-rectified. The fan is driven by several anti-static belts. The bearings of small fans are air-tight, and
need no lubricant oil. The bearings of large fans are plummer blocks which have self-regulating journals and
plummers that can be lubricated with oil. MDM units are equipped with fans of international brands which are
AMCA certified. Name-brand bearings and driving belts also helps enabling the unit to operate continuously
for a long time.
Heat Recovery Wheel
The Heat recovery wheel is molded using customized alveolate metal template. The surface of the revolver
is covered by special desiccant and adsorbing material.In typical installations, the revolver is fixed in the
middle of the pipes, which divides the revolver into two half-moons.The revolver pumps out unfresh indoor air
from one half-moon, and pumps in outdoor fresh air from the other.Meanwhile, the revolver revolves slowly
(approximately 20RPM) to store sensible heat from the hotter air side in the metal panels, and then transfers
the heat to the cooler air side. The latent heat passes through the metal panel and the desiccant absorbing
material (heat liberation) to condense the water vapor contained in high-humidity air, and then releases the
water vapor into low-humidity air through
