PERT is controlled medium density ethylene-1-octene-copolymer polyethylene offering excellent properties like heat-resistant, high ESCR and long term hydrostatic strength.

Pipe made of PE-RT can achieve outstanding resistance to slow-crack growth and long term hydrostatic stength, ensuring the long term applications between temperature of 70°C to 80°C. Pipe made of PE-RT have properties like high flexibility and easy-to-weld. It is widely used for application o water transportation, air-conditioning system and underfloor heating system.

PE-RT oxygen barrier pipe is composed of 3 or 5 layers, the EVOH oxygen barrier can effectively prevent oxygen permeability therefore eliminate bacteria growth inside the pipes to ensure clean water and better sanitation, as well as prevent the metal parts in the system from corrosion to ensure a much longer service.
