According to a report by Huanqiu Shibao citing New Delhi Television on the 22nd, in an effort to promote the normalization of India-China relations, the Indian government has fully resumed issuing tourist visas to Chinese citizens. This move is regarded by Indian media as another important signal of the ongoing thaw in bilateral relations between India and China.

Sources revealed to The New Indian Express that the Indian government has recently issued a notice globally to its embassies and consulates abroad to "fully resume processing tourist visa applications for Chinese citizens." This action aligns with a series of "people-centered measures" agreed upon by both India and China to stabilize bilateral relations.
It was reported that in July this year, India resumed processing tourist visas for Chinese citizens after a five-year hiatus, but at that time, only the Indian Embassy in China and its consulates in Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong were authorized to handle applications. The New Indian Express stated that the recent expansion of visa processing channels worldwide demonstrates India's growing confidence in the current development of bilateral relations.
It is worth noting that, according to China Eastern Airlines on November 9, the airline has officially resumed its India routes, with the outbound flight of the inaugural service achieving an occupancy rate of over 95%. In the future, China Eastern Airlines also plans to resume the Kunming-Kolkata route and launch a new Shanghai Pudong-Mumbai route, further expanding the air network between China and India. Additionally, according to a report by Business Standard on the 18th, Air India plans to resume direct flights between New Delhi and Shanghai starting in February 2026, with four flights per week. The airline also intends to launch direct flights between Mumbai and Shanghai. The report noted that this marks Air India's return to the Chinese mainland market after six years.

On October 26, a spokesperson for the Chinese Embassy in India posted on social media, stating, "The resumption of direct flights between China and India has become a reality." The Hindustan Times described this as a significant milestone in the two countries' efforts to restore normal travel links. The Indian government stated that the resumption of flights would facilitate "people-to-people exchanges" and contribute to the "gradual normalization of bilateral interactions."

The rapidly growing economy and the accelerated development of infrastructure have further driven demand in India's refrigeration and air conditioning market, creating more opportunities for Chinese companies to explore the Indian market.

From March 12 to 14, 2026, the 25th Indian Refrigeration Exhibition (ACREX) will be grandly held at the Mumbai Exhibition Centre.
ACREX is the largest and highest-standard refrigeration and air conditioning exhibition in South Asia. Organized by the Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE), the exhibition holds significant influence in India and across the South Asian market. Each year, it attracts a large number of globally renowned companies to exhibit. Moreover, over the past three years, even without large-scale participation from Chinese companies, the scale of ACREX has at least doubled compared to 2019, with more brands exhibiting than before, and this number continues to grow.
Our company is the general agent for ACREX in China. For many years, we have been serving Chinese companies in exploring the Indian market. Every year, over 30 Chinese companies join us in group participation or exhibit through other means. Several of these companies have been exhibiting with us in proxy form for four consecutive years and have achieved excellent results. They have decided to continue participating in the next Indian Refrigeration Exhibition with us.
In 2026, set sail for India. We welcome inquiries and registrations. Let us embrace the booming window of opportunity in the Indian refrigeration market together.
